This plant was protected during the first winter due to frost causing small areas of pad rupture. After this first winter it has not received protection since and has since flourished and tolerated the climate well.
Flowers
This plant has never flowered but I am hoping it will soon.
UPDATE JUNE 2006
This plant has grown stedily over the years produceing numerious pads but no flowers or buds to date. The plant didnt show any signs of growth during 2005 so I decided to move the plant to another location, removing most of the pads for cuttings. The plant has produced over 10 new pads this year and seems to be responding well to its new position. The plant continues to recieve no winter protection and has tolerated repeated lows of -12 Celcius during the winter of 05/06 while wet and has shown no signs of damage to date.
